Recep Tayyip Erdogan urges people to avoid going out unless necessary for the next three weeks and not to be worried about Turkey’s food chain

After a lengthy meeting on Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has told the public to avoid going out if not necessary as Turkey gradually reveals new measures against the coronavirus outbreak.

Last night on the Turkish news the president said it is time to do everything possible from home and reduce our physical link to outside world to a minimum, at least for three weeks He stated that “the more we increase social distancing, the more we decrease movement, the lower the threat will be”.

The Agriculture and Forestry Minister has stated that people do not have to worry about the nation’s food supply as the country has no problem in the production, stock or supply chain of basic food products.
