It has come to our attention that anyone who filled in the online application for the Habitation Amnesty and mistakenly entered the incorrect information may get a visit from the police.
We have been told by a friend that the police visited their property and left a message on their door to call into the police station. They were told that some of the information on their application was incorrect and they had to pay an extra 450 TL. As far as they are aware, they had calculated the size incorrectly which led to the extra charge.
When applying for the amnesty you are submitting legal information which must be correct. If you don’t use a qualified person to make the calculations and you risk doing it by yourself, please ensure that you understand completely what is being asked of you on the form.
